As am i, my car is already sitting closer to the deck thanks to a set of spax lowering springs but th only thing is i dunno how much buy as i bought it lowered,it looks like a 40mm drop mayb wrong tho but if i see a pic lowered 60mm on standard wheels i might be able to tell

I'm in the same boat, deciding between a 40 and 60mm drop on 15's. To be honest I am just a bit wary of cheaper suspension kits, as to how long the shocks will last.
There are a few pics in the sticky of members cars at the top, but none at -60 on 15's if i remember correctly.
We need some side profile pics of lowered gti's to compare !

The spax springs available for the 6n2 gti are listed as being -30mm.

After already going through this before with another car, id really suggest going for coilovers
Springs are gonna be a right pain to fit (or cost a fair bit to get fitted), the last thing you want is to find out that you diddnt go low enough and have the expense of doing it all again

Has anyone bought one of the £295 coilover sets that were in the for sale section ?
Any good ?
Obviously they will never last as long as an expensive set, but what is the ride like ?
