As above really i have some Golf R32 door pins which i have been trying to fit to my Polo. They are alittle to big for the metal thread they are ment to screw onto, just wondering whether people who have these fitted would like to share how they managed it?
Cheers

This is the door pins i have. I will try the bluetac trick but was hoping for something alittle more secure.
Thanks for the reply though.

As far as I know, they really aren't supposed to fit on Polos. I wanted to that mod once, but someone told me they wouldn't really fit.

They are the right diameter to go through the holes in the door card but the metal rod that they are ment to screw to is to skinny so they wont screw on. So i am after a alternative was of fastening them on.

I know it's a bit ghetto style, but I cut down my original door pins, i cut the top off first, then cut the next 5mm and threw this bit away. I then glued the top to the stem I was left with, sanded the edge off to blend it in. Now when you lock the door, it sits completely flush, cant see where it's joined, sweet.

Wrap some electrical tape around the metal rod, to make it 'fatter' in diameter - then you could just do a tight push fit?
