hiya, ive got a 1.6 cl and wondering are they rare and bhp they are. the reason i ask if they are is because i have never seen another 1.6cl. also the bhp, i was on the motorway yesterday and a corsa 1.4 16v sri which is 98bhp and he had exhasut on it wich would of made it up to 100. any way i beat it fairly easy.
it aslo ways 990kg so its quite nippy, ive already got an induction kit with cold air going to it, and tommorow im getting a fse boost valve.

so anybody know about 1.6cl's?

Not sure but think they are 75bhp 1.6 8 valve

yup 75bhp but a nice amount of torque from them and they are very driveable. As for 1.4 16v corsas i can keep them in the rear view mirror in a 1.4 8v

I'm picking one of these up this week also. Anyone know the exact weight, sounds like qwite a good spec, ABS, 239's same as a 1.4 8v i presume, electric windows, sunroof...

Interior looks a bit crap so will an interior from a seat ibiza cupra bilt straight in? or jsut some Mk3 Golf GTi front seats.

What gearboxes do these run, is it an 085 like in the Mk3 or an 020 like in a golf GTI or even some form of cable change box? Cable or hudraulic clutch?

Also the exhaust looks to be hidden away under the rear buper, is there a std exhaust from something like an ibiza cupra or 16v model thats a bit more visable without spending out on an aftermarket replacement

Also are the bumpers on the 1.4 16v different and do any models come as standard with a tailgate spoiler?

How interchangeble are parts from the 6N2? things like rear clusters, grills tailgate soilers, do they fit the earlier model easy enougth.
