I am wanting to order a new set of alloys for my car.

Does anyone know the weight of the std 15" BBS alloy on the Gti (without tyre).

I know the weight of the new alloy (15"), I just want to make sure the weight is not drastically different, and therefore won't have any effect on the acceleration/braking of the car.

With all the refurbing going on, hopefully someone will have an alloy they could pop on the scales for me?

for future reference / searches, the BBS alloy weight is 8.5 kg's (6Jx15).
