My Gti - first detail / pics

Gave my GTi it's first detail over the weekend, since I had bought it.
Gave it some tlc with the following treatments:
Zymol wash
Swissol paint rubber (clay)
Menzerna IP (applied by Porter Cable 7424)
Swissol cleaner fluid (applied by PC)
Swissol onyx wax
Meguiars tyre endurance
Sonus QD
It was a shame Sunday was so overcast, it just doesn't show off the finish obtained without any sun.
Pictures were taken at Goodwood Motor Circuit, and highlight the need for a new camera ! I will only post 3, as my car is pretty much standard at the moment:
September will see a new set of wheels and a suspension drop. As well as the splitter colour coded and a minor repair completed to the tailgate.
The only other major mod planned in the future will be the 280mm disk conversion, as I feel the std brakes are not good enough.
Other minor small cosmetic mods will take place when funds allow !
Regards,
Marc.

A member of 'detailing world' by any chance?
She is looking sweet my friend, a lil bit lower and she will be even hotter!

Mine isn't perfect by any means, with a few scratches and touch-ups, but it doesn't have the corrosion that yours is showing (apart from the std cracks below the rear lights - which my glx had also).
I also have a damaged rear tailgate and a skirt that is slightly out of shape from someone trying to jack the car up from it

that will be fixed in the short term, i am just making my decision on components. Isn't yours being fitted today?

No i'm not, but I have been meaning to take a look as I have heard good things about it.
I have just picked things up along the way and made informed decisions.

He's got LED Sidelights, I see from your DIY Guide you've got Osram Diadem indicators as well
Some nice pics there mate, the only clean mine's had in about 2-3 weeks was by VW when it was serviced because my right hand has been out of action thanks to cutting my thumb open.
I'm getting some LED's fitted on Tuesday, oh and Ultra LED's have some great service.
One of the Sidelights had 3 LED's out when I checked it Tuesday, I posted them back that night (after phoning him at nearly 6pm, was suprised he was still there) and got them through again this morning
