Hi,
I've just bought a 2004 1.4TDi Polo and picked it up today. When I turn on the ignition the "exhaust emission warning lamp" lights up. Once the engine is started it goes out. Is this normal behaviour or do I have a problem?:?
Thanks!
Mike

Hi there,
Yes it's fine, mine does this also.
It's only a problem if it stays on all the time. Congratulations on your new car by the way!
Gary.
