How to get the mudflaps off?

I had a go at taking my rear mudflaps off...but when i un screw them down the arch, theres abit that hangs on somewhere in the middle of the car at the back...like its attached but with no screw :?

Anyone care to shed some light before i get up on the jack

Yeah thats exactly what i did, but on the passenger side i actually managed to unscrew it. So i've got one good mudflap, and one sawn off lol

They do look ALOT smoother without the mudflaps, and tom you were just one of the lucky ones wasn't you lol :D

I only have them on the front.

Don't see the point of them on the back, not enough of an overhang, and they don't look good on the back. 8)

I must be the only one who's actually added mudflaps
Tricky enough to get on, especially since i refused to take the back wheels off while doin it :D I did look at the instructions b4 starting tho- a first for me
