He was a legend.

Top bloke, always made me laugh watching his show.

Funniest line I ever heard was:

"Wow, I've just been licked by the most dangerous snake in the world"

I'd hardly say he harrassed them if I'm honest, he did the same as all those types of people do, it's their job.

Yeah he always seemed sorted  Not in the head though, did you see the clips they keep showing on the news of him feeding the Crocodile with his baby under his arm. But still sad to hear about this.

And your obtuse enough to be taken in by this? the fact that is was recorded for a TV has no bearing on how genuine you may think he is?

Most people that do his job do it because they care for animals, not because they want to make money out of the entertainment industry.

the bottom line is he was killed filming a TV show by an animal defending itself.

Im not taken in by it at all but the guy was clearly passionate about crocs and his job and the fact that he made some money in the process through media doesn't mean he doesn't care about the animals...
In fact he raised awareness through his documentaries of what animals are all about etc etc...
And the fact he has 2 kids who are now without a father and within hours of his death people are posting silly pics on the net is sad and disrespectfull...

I'm not a massive fan by any means but he was a well knows and fun character who caused no harm to anyone
