Hey guys,

How would I go about removing the rear VW badge on my 9N?

I got told how to debadge the polo badge, which was great, cheers Dan.

I wan to know how to get the VW emblem off, then what to fill the holes with, and how to mach the paint back.

Regards
Ell

Smoothing the recess isn't something you should do yourself really.

Are you wanting to get rid of all the badges?

I guess

Err,

Well, yes, if its easy.

I heard somewhere that you can apply the same method as removing the 'polo' sign on the back. As in hairdryer, and floss,

But if this is not the case, then I don't want to wreck the car and end up with some holes in the hatch.

Thanks, ell

The VW badge has a reces behind it whereas the Polo badge can be taken straight off and has nothing behind it so you'll be ok with that one.

This is what's under the rear VW badge

you can remove all of them easily but you need to get the recess behind the VW sign professionally welded and then have the hatch door painted.
