Xenon adjustment

Had my MOT last week & guy said they were too low.
So adjusted them manually using the screws on top of the light.
Got home & turned the screws a bi more, til they would go no further.
Excellent results, I could now see where I was going, as before I could see about 2ft infront of my bonnet.
Anyway, this only lasted a couple of days & now they have levelled back down 2 feet in front of bonnet. Trouble is now I can't adjust them up as the screws will turn no further.
The lights are damn low & as I live in the sticks it's causing me real hassle.
Anyone know how I could adjust them back up?

You may have to use VAG-COM as the xenons are are automatically self-adjusting (legal reasons I believe) and so if you lower the car (the sensor is in the rear) it thinks you have a high load in the back and adjusts the beam closer to the car so that you don't blind oncoming drivers!

use vag com 2 free them, then use the screws on the front like you did before then use vag com again to save as home position. should remember that level then as the start position.

I ended up disconnecting the battery for 20mins or so then reconnecting and they sorted themselves out. My mates VAG CD couldnt sort my prob out but this did.

vag com does do it but you need a registered version to access basic settings.
