Show: Ultimate Dubs

Date: Sunday 11th March 2007

Venue: Telford International Centre

Location: Telford, Shropshire

Website: http://www.ultimate-dubs.co.uk/
Bringing together the Ultimate VW, Audi & Seat Show Cars, all under one roof at the Telford International Centre, Shropshire, UK. (Nr. Birmingham)

The show is supported by Local, National & European advertising, aimed to bring together the best show cars, clubs and & associated companies for the enthusiast to enjoy

The show will feature:-

The Best VW, Audi & Seat Show Cars (Stock - Modified - Custom)
Accesory, Parts, Tuning, I.C.E., Wheel & Styling Companies
European, National & Regional Club Display Stands
VW, Audi & Seat Motorsport Displays
Large Cars For Sale Area
Special Vehicle Displays
Plus much more......
Best bet is to go for an outside Club Display plot, which will comprise of up to 6 cars. Inside displays are available for up to 4 cars, space is limited but there is the addition of a third hall this year after the success of the inaugral show last March 8)

2006 photos are on the website, or if you do a little search on this very forum you will find the pics our members took from earlier this year.

For the 2006 event the weather wasn't up to much, as you might expect in March, but overall it was a good show with plenty of top-class metal including a display stand from the boys from cleaned.be :)

Anyone interested? I know its a way off yet but... it'll be here sooner than you think, and interest in the event seems to be high! Given the limited display size a cross-section of different marks and models of Polo would be ideal...

Cheers

Some updated news:

Having just downloaded the booking form for a Club Display Stand, if we were to have an outside display stand then there can be 6 cars, from all of which I would need the owner's name, vehicle (eg. Polo GTi, Polo 6n 1.4 etc etc) and registration number! No need to worry about having less than 'x' number of litres of fuel as this doesn't apply to the cars parked outside.

If the stand is indoors, there can be a maximum of 5 cars, they need to be in place on Saturday the 10th of March and then stay in the Halls until 5pm on Sunday. You have to have the bare minimum of fuel on board for fire and safety regs (on the light basically) and all Club vehicles are judged for the show and shine regardless of whether you want to enter or not

Rooms are available at the on-site hotel for people staying overnight.

Oh and all club display applications must enclose at least two photos of each vehicle that will be on the display for ID purposes!

Will find out a deadline for applications, but the sooner the better really, say early December, provisionally?

Cheers

BUMP :)

I have been in touch with the organisers and here is the plan:

* By the 1st of December I need to confirm numbers but not the final details of the cars for the stand. The application is then put in for the (outdoors) club display, of up to 6 cars.
* Exact vehicle details etc are then confirmed closer to the time in January (vehicle type, reg number etc).

I know March seems like a long time off but it'll be here sooner than you know it!

Please state your interest by copying and pasting the list below:

2. ...
3. ... and so on :)

Similar to Edition 38? Well, its indoors and its in the middle of March so possibly rather colder and wetter than E38  but thats OK 'cos you can nip indoors for a cuppa and a gawp at the show cars!

Its a good show though, I really enjoyed it last year! But if there is not the interest in a stand, then I'll just be going as a spectator again...

UPDATE:

Indoor stands are now fully booked.

Outdoor stands are still available but spaces are filling up fast!

Without four to six cars there will be no stand!
