Well i thought i'd let who wasnt at the polo show, see how my car is currently looking, there has been alot of blood sweat and tears put into this thing, but i am finally happy with the exterior!
A few of you will prob recognise my car, but it went through a couple more changes last week.
It went from this
To this........which you guys would have recognised it from
And now to this!!! This is its current guise and i am super happy with it at the moment!!
At the Aberdeen Car Show
At the Polo Show
I was looking into purchasing a G60 rallye as another car.......but thats out the window, so think i'll concentrate on the polo!
Future plans are a nice tidy install, some leather interior and in the very distant future, hopefully next year......an engine conversion! I would have liked to have gone for something like a 1.8T, but its more and more likely going to be a GTI lump instead!
Hope you like its new look and appreciate the transformation!

They are loosely based on the style of Borbet A's, bu they are in fact called Huhrer's.....whoever the hell they are!!!
Do you think i need spacers on it? i'm a bit unsure, its on 5mm spacers at the moment, but i was thinkin of stickin 20mm spacers all round. what you think?

The GTi grille looks a lot better now mate, I did see it at the Polo Show
The only thing I'm not too sure on is the front splitter, it's just a bit deep for my liking.
Other than that it's looking sweet.

Yeh i know what you mean mate......the plan is for a gti splitter, i was enquiring about one in the for sale section.
but that went astray. so i'll just wait! It looks ok for the time being......and i do like it, but like i said there is other plans

Yeh i shoulda took the plates off for the show......but i am just unsure on where to put it to be honest. Think i'll keep it there tho, cos i like it, but it'll most likely be on a different splitter son enough.

Yep, I think the fact they can see I have a plate helps me, don't really know what I'd say if they stopped me tbh.
I'm thinking of getting something to stick it to the window so it can be made out even easier.
