How are remaps for power?

Now I know a remap will give me around 10-15bhp increase, but what does this do for 0-60/Top Speed?

To be honest I don't think there'll be much of a difference in outright power/0-60 when the 1.6 is remapped, it'll be the torque spread/drivability of the car that will be noticably improved, which for normal driving will be more important !

You wouldnt get 10-15bhp from a remap either.

JBS Auto emailed me power increase to 132-135bhp and torque will go up to 120-130lb/ft, thats phase 1 custom code at £352

Is that price exclusive of the VAT? IIRC for the price you will also get a rolling road before the code is applied, and a rolling rad after, to show the difference

As well as a remap ?
You getting a decat exhaust or anything ?
You had a duel with mark's G40 yet ?
That would be worth seeing

Plenty of duels and I've only kept up once...uphill in the wet. Exhaust is planned for spring next year. I'm just curious into remaps as I wouldn't mind more powerRICHARD HARPER wrote:What other mods you doing ?
