this may be a long shot, but is anyone able to tell me the size of the brakes on a mk4 Golf V6 4motion!!

i'm looking at a set of 16" alloys from this car on ebay and i need to know if they will clear my brakes, which obviously my 16" Keskins didn't!!!

my gut feeling is yes as i think the brakes ona V6 are fairly substantial but if anyone can tell me exactly then i'd be very grateful!!

Good question, no idea I'm afraid! Have you tried the E38 forums as well?

hmmmm good idea will have to try that, theres a few day to run yet but best to know!
weirdly the guy states that they are 16x7.5 wide, yet i found a review of the V6 4Motion after a yahoo search and it stated that the wheels were 16x6.5wide??

I knew I kept those old Autocar magazines for a reason.

2000 2.8 V6 4motion Golf:

Front: 312mm vented discs,
Rear: 256mm vented discs,

Wheels: 6.5Jx16in
