Water Leak

Since around February my Polo has has a slow water leak. It used to be it would go from full to empty in around a week and a bit sometimes more. But recently I felt it been going down quicker. So this time when water light came on i filled it as usual and reset my miage counter. The water light came on at 95.0 miles. I've told my dad and he had a look and theres no obvious signs of head gasket about to go like no milky stuff around oil etc But in my recent service I have mentioned it to the mechanic and he said theres no obvious sign of leakage. I know its a long shot but any of you had this problem or no what it could be. Cheers

its not going slowly either if it took 30 odd miles, if i were you'd let the car idle on the drive, while constantly monitoring the coolant levels. Any obvious leaks should show themselves at this point.

Yes I got it sorted now. Turns out after a presure test my radiator was shot, so bought a new one and now everything is fine.

Had the same with mine. Turned out a stone had damaged my radiator and was still stuck in the hole and was letting the water out. Only noticed where it was going when my other half borrowed the Polo for work. Followed her in my ST until we went our seperate ways and noticed a fairly constant drip! New Rad and all sorted. If the stone had of come out it'd have dumped the lot! Was nice and easy to drain it though
