185/60R14 (ET38) STEELS WHEELS OFF MK2 [b]*GOOD or BAD BUY

As subject title says, i went to Local Scrapyard at lunchtime for a nosey and found a Mk2 Golf Driver with a set of 4 185/60 14" steel wheels c/w centre caps.

So i snapped them up, taking the risk if they'll fit over brake calipers or not. (Lucky they did, pic below from behind caliper)

I know there an inch smaller than the G60's, but for a tenner you can't complain, and have heaps of tread :) :) Although they need a paint.

Also they have ET38 stamped on them or something, does this pose any problems ? :?

As my bbs splitties have ET45 stamped on them and are 195/45 15's. :?

Anyway i was just needing your opinions guys, as the wheel seems very close to inside arch at the sill (if you know what i mean) i've taken pics from above and below looking up.

Would this pose problems if i hit a bump ? :?

Meaning would they scuff inside arch ?

I can take out liner, but its going to scuff after that bit and on the solid arch itself.

It also seems quite close to my front bumper too :?

Pics below.

Also i have about an inch or so clearance fom top of tyre to the bottom of the strut bit where the spring sits.

Would this pose any problems ?

I didnt think it would as that gap wouldnt change, am i correct ?

Pic below too

Also is it ok to use the bolts that were holding on my BBS wheels for these ?

I'm just away to try one wheel on the back and will let you's know what happens.

SO SHOULD I BIN THEM OR KEEP THEM ??
