only ever heard it on a 306 DTurbo. it sounded mint.

like i said, the flash intro is a 306 with a magnex exhaust, green induction kit and a dump valve.

Just a pointer... Most people who are into VW's that I know have seemed to steer clear of Superchips... Instead they favour REVO, APR, AMD, Jabba etc.

Also, if you've got a TDI, have you thought about a Diesel "Tuning Box"? Cheap and very effective.

I'm not saying Superchips are bad at all, just that they seem to be better on Fords etc than on VW's.

Why don't you save the money and buy a decent engine mod like an ABT performance chip? :?

where do i get this from?

isn't that the same as a superchip tho ?

Not as far as I know as they say they 'rework' the ecu for optimum performace. You'll get 95bhp and a truckload of torque straight away.

Says its £50 on the site but thats definately wrong, give em a call...

Basically the Tuning Box is a plug in box that you can plug in and out whenever you want... ie you can remove it before it goes in for servicing etc!

REVO uses the car's diagnostics port to re-flash the existing ecu with new performance code. Seems to be the latest and most advanced form of tuning.

The rest use traditional techniques (similar to Superchips) whereby they open your ecu and solder in a new chip.

APR, AMD, Jabba etc are all VAG (Volkswagen Audi Group) Specialist Tuners, so they know what they're doing.

You'll have to www.google.co.uk for their web addresses.

Like I said before, Superchips are ok, but the others that I mentioned above specialise in VW's, so I'd always go with one of them.

REVO is cool (if they do a code for your engine).

Tuning boxes are dirt cheap, effective and removable.

HTH!
