the shanghai vw product 2 engine type POLO 9N
one is 1.4 16V 55KW
the other is 1.6 8v 75kw

the 1.6 version never been seen in POLO.de.
it was said it was import form brazil .

i 'v bought the 1.4 version.
in de. there has 1.4 75kw version.
i know it is same engine as 1.4 55kw.

the difference is ECU ,connecter, or others.
it is said that can refresh ecu software to power up the engine
who know this?

the brasilian POlo is 1.6 with 101Hp

Do you mean that the ECU 'reconfigures' itself? If so this is something that is on all VW/Audi ECU's. From memory the ECU monitors gear changes and speed. Then every 200 miles it resets/reconfigures itself to get the best peformance/fuel consumption out of the engine

I think he's asking what are the differences between the 75hp and 100hp versions of the 1.4L 16V gasoline engines.... which VW sells in Europe and others parts of the world like Hong Kong but not in China....

But I don't know the difference either.
