Well I've had my Gti exactly one month and had a prang already... 1st one in 6 years of driving...To cut a long story short cyclist undertook a car on roundabout and I hit her at about 10mph and she isn't injured (luckily)

Damage to my car consisted of:

Smashed fog light - Replaced already £50 from Eurocarparts
Scratch on bumper
Depression dents in bonnet and scratch on bonnet

I've been to a body shop and they have quoted me £200 to respray bonnet, fix depression dents, re-bond the seal on the underside of the bonnet, respray bumper and blend in the front panels. Does this seem an O.K price I've never had to use a repair shop before so I've got no idea...

Oh and here are some pics of the damage...I know it's not much but I like to keep my cars as pristine as possible:

Sounds like a pretty good price to me for all of that.

Yes,it sounds like an excellent price if that is the work that is going to be done.

You can quite easily pay £200 for a bumper respray alone.
