just recantly had a sub n amp n head unit fited wen they wer fited the guy said that the head unit is conected to the alarm system n wen uswap for after market u sumtimes get probs wid lockin your car n stuf but said they can fit sum wire if it does but mine seemed to be alright! but my head unit turned off drivin to work n wunt switch back on so checked thefuse n it was fine tried the hu in a mates car works a treat but still no joy in mine. ive also noticed that wen i take my key out of the ignition the interior light doesnt cumon untill u open a door but it cusm on wen u un lock it any ideas? could it be this mysterious wire that i might need?

eye fink vat day may not av put it in proper.
I did my own stereo install and it works fine inc. sub and amp. Dont know about the light though sorry.

dont the light turn on when you only open the door anyways?

The light should come on when you unlock the car, when you turn the engine off and when you open the door.

Mine doesn't come on when i turn the engine off any idea what the problem could be and how to fix it would be great

Should be when you turn the engine off and take the key out.

One thing I can suggest is giving SQ Plus a call and describe what's happened, I'm sure they should be able to point you in the right direction
SQ Plus - 0161 748 1600 if they can't help then I don't know who can
