The LED on the remote lights up when the button is pressed

However, only like 1 out of 10 times when pressed will it actually lock the car. Obviously this becomes a problem when trying to get into the car.

I then popped the bonnett and it seemed to work more frequently, where abouts is the sensor under the bonnett?

Anyone else had this prob?

May be a dumb question but have you thought of changing the battery in the remote, I expect this is what happens when the battery is just about to run out.

Yep. It works a little better but still iffy

Will get them to check it when it goes for a service
