OIL ?

just checked out my oil with the old dipstick, and its preety low. can anyone suggest some good oil? brand? mixture? because i have no idea whats best ??

Quantum Synta Silver 10/40W from VW.

Or Castrol GTX Magnatec 10W/40, either will be fine.

ok cheers guys, i couldnt remember what i used before and what i had left has been moved in the garage. prob best to do a filter change aswell i expect. thanks again

Yep change the filter too. Only a few quid so there's no excuse not to do a proper job.
