Paint colour code

Where do I find the sticker with the colour code on it on my mk5? Also just found an ID tag under the bonnet that says my polo is a type 6N, whats that all about?
Paint Code will be in your service book near the front somewhere and under the carpet in your boot, mine is on the right hand side.
It will be 2 letters a number then another letter e.g. LA7W (Reflex Silver)
