Anyone fitted HID's to their polo?
wondering if the beam is alright with the standard headlamp unit and if they all go in alright (no cutting or anything needed) I'm hoping to just plug and play, should be able to get away without taking the bumper off too if im lucky. Any tips/advice?
Im getting some ive been reccomended off ebay, £100, 3 year warranty. Can't go wrong for that price!
thanks,
Paul

Got a link to the eBay ones?
I have them on my polo as does SiDaBa (he also fitted mine) and you will need to remove the whole light cluster so will need to remove the bumper and you need to secure the ballast somewhere behind the bumper too.
No cutting needed other than in the weather cap behind the light for the wires to go through.

theres the link, I've seen posts about the xenon bulbs hitting parts of the light inside etc? is this not an issue? Also why do my headlights need to come out?

your headlights need to come out because the 9n engine bay is so cramped that you have to take the headlights out to fit HID's
i know 'cause i had to do the same to fit mine
haven't experienced any problems with the bulb hitting the inside of the light
only problem i got is that the headlamps tend to fog up when the car is standing outside in the rain, this is because of the cut in the weather cap

No idea but i'd say it's not advisable as there would be nothing to spead the light around the lense and you would blind everyone.
