Extend the Warrenty?

A couple of days ago I received a letter from VW offering me the chance extend my warrenty which runs out late December.
It sounds quite expensive to me: (These are the rough prices)
1 year - £380
2 years - £630
Has anyone extended the warrenty? Does anyone think it's worth doing.
I know there are loads of people on the forum that have had clutch problems, the warrenty states that general clutch ware and tear isn't included but possibly a major fault like this one maybe?
My car has done roughly 23,500 miles.

after reading the horror stories on here i would AT LEAST get the 1 year warrenty. if the gearbox breaks or the alloys corrode then you could possibly be looking at more than £400.

Hey All Important information for you all.
My friend has put me in touch with a company that deals with insurance for car parts only and there cheaper than VW

.
My friends Turbo D packed in and was told that it would cost £1000 inc labour for a Turbo and Fitting it. Well this company only charged 10% of the total cost. So I'm taking out a policy with them next year when mine runs out.
I have been quoted £220 all in and they cover nearly every thing on the car except body work I think.
Here's the www.

Hope this helps

Nice one for the link... I might have to get some of that!
Funk VW and their 360 quid a year (plus they will want you to get it serviced with them AND will want to stop you modifying!)
£215 per year sounds much better!

i think the vw one is still worth it, saved me about that much when my gearbox went, had courtsey cars also so no running around on buses is that included in the other warranty??

Thanks everyone for the feedback...
I think i'll go with VeeDub for another year and then see what happens.
