9N AIRBAG warning light problems!

Right, my airbag light is on after i let a friend install some ICE. I have no idea what he has done, but it's MOT time and the car will fail if my airbag warning light is on. Any idea as to what it might be?

he might have removed the center console and while doing that he might have turned the ignition on with the "Airbag Off" switch connector disconnected. It's a 30 second job to reset if you have access to a laptop with VAG-COM, or any local garage can do it for you.

the car wont fail the MOT because of the airbag light. it will just need the airbag module reseting

Hi All
the airbag light is on in the dash,the one that looks like a seat belt
does it mean there is a fault with the passenger airbag or a fault with the air bag system
not sure now
help needed
