lovley build up :)
now all you need to do is spend many hours cleaning up the engine to bring it up to the standard of the body!

The engines looking alot better now, need to post some recent photos, its had a good clean, and ive painted the cam belt cover and fitted a chrome rocker cover. Its only a 1.1 at the moment but im busy tidying a 1.3 out of an early mk2, hopefully should get it in some time next year

Ok, a quick update. I fitted new brake lines a few weeks ago, however this was my first attempt and didnt look very good, there wasnt any kinks but it looked a bt s**t! I redid this at the weekend wiv my dad, it now looks alot better. I''ve taken the standard exhaust off and am currently waiting for a nice stainless steel replacement, mmmm Shiney! Once the exhaust is back its mot time, hopefully should pass as ive replaced pretty much everything. Since my last post the plans for the interior had changed, i really liked the standard seats but the rear backrest was fooked, and even after everything had a good clean still looked a bit dirty. So i decided to get a retrim in cream vinyl, it looks like leather but alot cheaper I dropped the seat off last thur and picked them up last night, i think they look amazing, im so pleased, i had the headrest holes covered up as i wanted it to look proper retro. Ive also fitted the steering wheel i used to have in my golf, rekon it looks pretty good. The only problem is now that ive fitted the seats the door cards look dirty, but they'll do for now, heres a few pics
