As far as I'm aware the Lupo GTi box does not fit the Polo GTi.

No it doesn't
There is one more mounting bolt on the lupo one IIRC so the holes don't line up.

Lupo gti's use 020 gearbox's, like golf mk1,2,3 etc. They are NOT compatible with the polo engine and would be very hard to mount in the engine bay as new mounts would need fabricating. I was looking at buying a lupo engine and box together but it was a five speed so i didnt think was worth the effort (though it would never break like the polo one).

As Alex_6n2 said it won't just fit straight in.
It could fit but its alot of hassle. Also the Lupo GTI gearbox is hydraulic whereas the Polo GTI isn't. So there is alot of work involved as the Polo GTI gearbox is cable driven and you'd need to convert it.

As I know, VW made not only 3 colours of 6N2 GTI, different place have
different colours provide.
In Hong Kong, we have red, sliver, black and blue(same as RS4).
In japan, they have one more colour, "yellow"
