Argh! Yet more problems!

- My rear washer jet isn't squirting properly, even though I checked the pipes to see if they are leaking (they are fine) and my washer fluid is full
- It sounds like my boot was open and the boot light was on faintly. So I stopped the car, checked the boot and it's still glowing. What is weird is the light goes brighter when I open a door. Check all doors/windows my bonnet and boot and the light wouldn't go off. The alarm beeps a certain way when something is still open, but I've checked. Thankfully the car is locked but it's not right
All this I noticed today, and along with the fact my car has the worst brakes and clutch combo ever

Water has corroded the contacts. I had the same problem. I just scrapped all the greeny corrosion off with a stanley knife and it sorted it.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. The garage didn't even tell us properly what was done to the car, so its probably worse than it was before

I feel like I'm doing a bloody restoration and the car is only 6 in March. Got all this electrical stuff to sort, then I got to sort out the worn interior parts, then finally get the bodywork sorted..and of course my wheels

I could be an arse and sell it for £6k, then buy a 172 for 4k

Lol well I did consider one before I got the Polo. I do miss having my "normal" car. One thing that is still there is the speed. To jump in to the GTI from a heavy Mk7 is amazing, the car just wants to go. Shame the brakes and clutch ruin it somewhat, and of course the niggles mentioned above

Why dont you go for the upgrades then? G60 brakes and the sachs clutch has had awesome reviews.
Then all will be dandy!

On top of that think of the poor dub's feelings, its coming to the price where idiots get hold of the cars and don't appreciate them as much, your poor little gti might get written off!!

, havent you noticed how more seem to be appearing in breakers!
When i bought mine the first one i looked at (which had better wheels

) was bought by a 16 year old chav, there were 3 of the little bastards with gay caps and trackies...wanted to kill the little S**t

Don't sell it Mouse, you'll miss it once it's gone. Get the problems sorted and it'll be your dream car again
I don't understand why everybody's brakes are so rubbish, mine are really good never had any complaints about them at all????
