I was woundering after looking at the polos manual if i could unlock the driver side door with the key in the lock and in the second turn unlock all the door?
this is what it says on the manual
the central locking can be modified to open only the driver's door or thr front passenger side with out affecting the others
1, turn the key once to unlock the driver's door
2, turn the key twise in succession to unlock all the doors, boot and the tank flap.
ASK a vw dealer for more detaild information or to activate this system
SO would any of you know how to avtivate this system?
as it is very usefull!

You'll need a laptop, a cable and a copy of VAG-COM.
Or you can go to the dealer but they will charge you a minimum of 30mins labour which could be as much as £30.

I too have seen that in the manual for my mk4 6n but only locks/unlocks all from drivers side.
Would be good if you can activate it.

hahah good luck with the £30 jobbie. I worked as a service Advisor at listers VW worcester, they charge approx £86 per hour +VAT and will charge you a minimum of 1 hours labour for anything involving plugging into the diag. computer (Vag com). Best bet is ebay, OBD2 cable/dongle (depends whatthey wanna call it) and a copy of VAGcom for £15 or so (not sure on that price.). Sounds good though.
edit: From ebay
