MOT test?

Usually how long does an MOT test go? they told me around 1hour, its now ticked passed 2hours, more i think about it, the more i think somethings wrong

they could be a back log of mot test and they havent started it yet

my car went for its mot last week, they took it at around 10am and called at about 4pm to tell me it had failed...
