Hey guys,

On my way home today i noticed that when i pull away, my accelerator feels as if its grinding!?

Pretty angry, seemed as if both the accellerator, and clutch pedal were vibrating as i lifted one up, and pushed the other down. Which has never happened before,

My immediate thought was that my clutch was going, is this what i would expect to feel if my guess is right, and the clutch IS on its last legs?

If so, im pretty f*****g mad, having just had VW look over it, and replace the drive shaft and practically the whole front end, im sure they could have told me if the clutch was going?! Surely im covered by warranty for this sort of thing? - it hasn't expired yet.

Could be something to do with the accident you just had - something could be rubbing that VW haven't spotted. Plus VW aren't responsible for checking things like your clutch unless you ask them to.

think its worth checking with them!? because, wont they charge to have a look.

trouble is, my dad comes home this weekend, and if he sees the induction kit, he'll go spare!

Will VW care if they open up the bonnet and see the K&N sitting there?

The induction kit won't bother VW at all. To check your clutch i'm pretty sure they will charge as they will be using a lift to get under the car and i don't think it's an easy/quick job.

ok cool, about the induction kit , thers no chance it could be the induction kit thats doing it?

no i think more around the driveshaft/clutch area??
