anyone had the carpets out of their polo??

i fancy whipping mine out for a good jet washing , but want to know if they have sound deadening attached to the backs??

mk2 carpets are fastened in with clips and doodahs and such then there is like a foamy stuff bonded to the floor and a sort of clay filled sack under that

so you could leave all the sac like sh1te in the car and wash the carpets with a jet washer? i can use a vax to dry them best i can , but wont bother if i need to soak 3" of sound deadener
