I have a 2002 1.2 that has a coolant temp range fault.
The temp gauge on the dash display is showing the correct temp and it appears to be warming up OK. I did suspect the radiator fan but the usual check by shorting across the switch didn't work. On checking the supply it only showed 5 Volts. Is this normal as I was expecting 12 volts. Any ideas please

Are your coolant levels ok?

My GT kicked off about it on Wednesday as the coolant was possibly on min, put more antifreeze in and the gauge light went off.
