Fancy getting another mk2 golf gti 16v as i miss my old one so much. The polo is a nice car but its not cool enough ! Just wondering what you guys think its worth?

Basic spec of the car is:

101,700 Miles
New gearbox from VW still under warranty
Will have full tax and MOT when sold
OE Full leather interior
FK Highsport coilovers
10mm wheel spacers
BBS centre caps
Full S/S exhaust system with twin round backbox
Alpine MP3 headunit
JL Audio Evolution front components
Black polo 9n interior mirror
New style GTI front and rear badge
Mk5 golf aero rear wiper

I also have the standard suspension, headunit and badges

The bodywork is in pretty good condition, a few light scratches and small dings, stone chips

its a good spec car and the leather makes it even more desireable but it is a fairly high miler so £4-4.5K maybe??

3.5-4k I'd reckon. High mileage ain't a problem if the oil has been changed every 5k or so

I was hoping for 4K. 3.5K is way too low. It is high milage but its been looked after and has a full VW service history. Plus it has the desirable leather interior which should help it sell better. I can put it back standard if that would appeal to more people?

Just take off the old one, and put the mk5 one on. The wiper needs cutting down slightly because its too long Easy peasy!

I'd ask 4k for it and see how you get on. It has been well looked after as you've said and has leather and remember it is a rare car

I agree. its a great looking car, good look with the sale, hopefully the new owner will join this forum.
