how low?

got a mrk 4 polo and thinking of lowering it.
how low do you recomend so it looks good but can still go over bumps (slowly)

90!! i managed 95 on 14's for a while..speed bumps werent the problem, it was the random bumps in the road lol

mine are wound to the bottom on jamex coilovers, (80mm, roughly)
i took the helper spring out of the front ones a couple of weeks ago so i could go lower! i feel like a nodding dog!

like henry01 said, random bumps in the road are a problem! normal spped humps are fine, but the separated square ones (which my part of south london are flooded with!

) are the enemy! i have to go over a wheel on each square hump, or goodbye sump!

my g/f has 15" brocks and is down roughly 80mm all round on FK Highsports and there is absolutely scrubbing!! (even on the rear with a sub and 2 amps and stealth shelf in the boot)

120mm goes over speed bumps with a bit of grunt and scraping and gettin stuck

thats the way forward that.
i though about a thin sheet of metal welded under mine so i could go low and still use the tracks i do now, i've already managed to rip my exhaust off, and the one i have now doesn't sound healthy lol.

80 probably best for going over slowly (1-3 mph), 60 for going over reasonably slowly (5mph)

ive got my highsports down as low as they go on 15's and i can take most ramps slowly, multi-storey car parks are a b**ch tho lol

i got 17s 205/40/17 felken ziex512 streached walls on my polo and im thinkin how low can i go is 40mm healthy? and the front wheels rub when on full lock dats wid out lowering! any idea?!

i had the same tyre and same size wheels on mine 60mm down no probs.........
