Can anyone tell me the part number for the brake light switch, as mine is knackered.
I've had a look & its the new type (purple coloured one). VW stealer said it would be tricky to fit & wanted £70. Had a look myself, 10 minute job.
Robbing bas**rds.
Funny thing is the brake light in the spoiler still works

£70?! Which VW dealership was that? They're having a laugh.
My brake light switch went a year or so ago, cost me £20 from VW in Newcastle to get it replaced.
I'd suggest GSF or Eurocarparts might be able to get you a brake light switch if you want to do it yourself.

Thanks for the reply redline, the stealer was going to fit a switch for free if they had one in stock (which they didn't).
Then they said they would order one & only charge £55 labour, instead of £60, how nice of them.

# 191 945 515 B (2 pin)
# 1J0 945 511 C (4pin)
