seriously can you expect any bhp gains from a £7.99 chip?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... &rd=1&rd=1
or is it just a con?
the guy has a lot of positive feedback?

It's probably a 2p resistor that does nothing

No. End of.
Remember, if it's too good to be to true, it is. You run the risk of fubaring your engine if you install it.
As for the good feedback, I don't think it really applies to what the product does. Most people give good feedback when they receive the product.

There's a reason decent chips/remaps cost more than £7.99.

As used by top drag racers over the 1/4 mile
Yeah right, they spend tens of thousands on building the engines and use a £7.99 chip to make them get that extra second off their time
Think of it this way mate, would places like Revo, AMD, Custom Code etc do all the research and development they do into making remaps and chips if they could use one of these?
They're a waste basically

Ye i totally agree. Besides, how can something with just one cable make any possible difference - let alone be compatible with practically every car ever made on that list he provides
Cheers,
