Right, today. Got in my car, went to reverse off the drive but before I'd put the keys in the ignition I saw this 13 year old kid on a bike biking down the road. So I ignored him and started my car up.

Just as I did he speeds up, so my back bumper is level with his bike wheel. I sat there signalling for him to move and he starts giving me abuse! I got out my car, stood against the door and he speeds off.

Kids today need a reality check. Big time.

Tbh, I was quite fascinated when he started giving me abuse. Obviously one of those kids who's parents don't care whether he's out picking flowers or out mugging innocent bystanders..

Sorry, you've hit one of my pet hates.

Why do people nose into a driveway, then reverse out into the road?

Basic logic says you back in and nose out.

its easier

its actually impossible to reverse in and drive out as my dad parks his van and the man accross road parks his parralel to it so a car only just can fit through. so i couldnt pull out id only have to reverse again to get through lol

i had had a similar experience not long after I bought my car. They soon learn after the headlight spray covers them, their bike and half the road in washer fluid

Suprisingly it hasn't happened again since

A kid got my bonnet with a football when i parked up the other night, hes my nextdoor neighbour and ive known him since he was born, he must be about 13 now...

I growled at him and shock my head from inside the car, he was stood infront of it. I dont think ive ever been so disappointed in the lad!

Basic Logic would change if you live on a very busy main road.

That just worries me more.
