They belong to "polo power" - he was asking for in the region of £700 in the For Sale section

nice, but you could probably get the same done to your own wheels for less than £80 a corner (plus tyres). Either way i couldnt justify it costing £700

Well you will always get someone willing to pay a price if they really want them, but i wouldnt have paid that, my top price would be £250, £300 at a strech, but as said if someone is willing to pay then happy days for the seller !

Er...I paid £603 for some brand new RXII 16's, not to mention they were on brand new dunlop sp tyres...thats ridiculous!

Thats a scary price they went for, I got a near mint set with a good set of tyres for £250 off ebay about a year and half ago. Might have to look into refurbing my old set that are in the hut, if they are going for that price !

Well that's encouragement for me to finish refurbing the ones I started months ago. For whatever reason the market has gone slightly mad.

Might just be because it's the start of show season, everyone will be looking for new bits and pieces.

Including me

My RX's were £600 and only £100 extra for a set of T1 Toyos!

bear in mind that 4 new tyres are worth about £250. I don't think the price they sold for is too unreasonable, they are split rims after all and very nice examples at that.
