Just wondering if anyone knows the EXACT drops this kit gives. On the various websites it states 45-50mm for the front and 30-35mm for the rear.

Is it definately possible to get a 35mm drop on the rear as Im sure I read on here that some people say the drop for the rear is only 30mm.

My signiture is my car on eibach sportline springs. Not sure what the exact drop is tho. Yours would be a little lower as your on 16''s.

Heres a bigger picture Not an amazing drop, hence why im going alot lower.

Well it depends really, with larger wheels there is less arch gap, and with small wheels there is more arch gap inless they have massive tyres, but the car is lower to the ground.

The rear spring will prob be about 35mm as the weight at the rear doesn't really change, its the engine weight that causes variation in the front springs. ie, our 1.2's have light engines so the front will probably only go 45mm. Where as a 1.9TDi lump would probably be closer to the 50mm.

according to eibach for the Polo 9N (1.2, 1.4, 1.4 FSI without automatic gear box) the drop is 45-50 mm on the front and 30-35 mm on the rear..

My car on Eibach (pro kit) springs, I think it's the same as sportline ?



Low enough for me, besides, the driving comfort/feeling with the road is now superb imo, car sticks soo much more to the ground.

This also was my main reason of changing to eibach springs, better handling, so I'm satisfied with the result

what exactly do you mean? im toying with the idea of new springs, and i just wanna get an idea on handling improvements? like, when you say it sticks to the ground more, do you mean there is less lean in corners?

That's what I mean indeed, for example; when you start accelerating in a corner it's just so much fun, feels very solid / no leaning, more fun to mess around and you don't feel like getting seasick with your car "shaking" around

mc_iver_9n, what is the ride quality like with sportlines and standard shocks (i presume?).

The ride quality isn't to bad with the standard shocks. It can bounce a bit after going fairly fast over a small bridge lol. Its good on the motorway with 17''s. I'm going lower at the begining of june so i will have my current set for sale.

can you do me a favour please? Can you measure the distance between the level ground and the lowest part of the votex front splitter? cheers!
