This is my audio / sat nav system, factory fitted. What i need help with if anybody knows, is the sat nav functions on it.

You can enter destinations, post codes, etc but the unit cannot recognise your current location & so doesnt know where to start the guidance from basically! It does say that something like 32 satellites are found, but the number connected are 0.

Does anybody know how to fix it so that i can use my sat nav and it pick up my location??

I didnt know if it might mean a visit to VW but dont really want to end up paying a fortune to get it working if i can avoid it.

Sorry if posted this in wrong area, if so please move :D

Hey Fluffpebble (nice name!),

This happened to me after I installed mine and I thought I had been given a faulty sensor. I assume you have one of these, if this was factory fitted then you would have it attached to your aerial on the roof.

I had to drive mine around for a while and then it picked up the signals. Have you tried this? If not then have a look in the manual. Good Luck.
