If you do use the blue vision one make sure you dont use halfords own brand. I did and they are dissapointing - the bulbs look lightly blue when turned off but soon as power goes through them they look as yellow as normal bulbs.

I'd give the LED ones a try

I'd go for led ones personally - thats what I will be changing to as soon as I have a few hours to spare to fit them.

Go for LEDs though changing them is a pain in the arse as you have to take the bumper off.

Yep it will. All 6n2 polos have the same bulbs. 501 or W5W sidelights, H7 dipped and H1 high beams.

I have these on my Gti, and used them in the "how to" write up.

I would only consider metal housed ones, as they are they only ones that truley last and don't melt causing a flicker.

Read my review of these of ultraleds: http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/product_revi ... cf9469c03c

I read some reviews about these types of bulbs melting the housing. I take it these bulbs have been fine for you?

I've had a look on this site before but the range of bulbs they sold boggled my mind, and I bought a plain old pair of W5Ws instead. Wish I hadnt
