Hey guys,

My dad is looking to get a new car this time next year.

And his plan is to sell my 9N to get some money for the deposit.

At the moment, on our drive-way, there is a 9N (mine) and a 9N2 (parents).

The plan is, to sell my 9N, to get the deposit for the new car (BMW 335i)

Then, they're going to give me the 9N2. It's a 1.4SE (75bhp) 3 Door, in Grey Anthracite. It also has VW Sports Suspension (-15mm) and 14" Alloys.

My main question is wether i will be able to transfer things across from polo-to-polo. Like my head-unit, and door speakers etc...? and, if possible...my beloved rear lights?! :D

Cheers
Ell

if its an aftermarket headunit, certainly yes. if its standard- if its the same shape vw one then yes it will work.
door speakers- ask in the mk7 area on door speaker diameter and if its 6.5" then you're ok
and rear lights will also work, just follow the diy guide for putting mk7 lights on a mk6, but kinda do the opposite.
should be fine

You still going to go ahead with your plan of lowering it 30mm?

not now that the prospect of getting this car has come up...

all thought, the idea is still very appealing.

in a years time, how much do you think my 9N would be worth? say, with all my mods, and it lowered 30mm?

small modifications like that will not make an impact on the price of a car

surely they would if someone wanted a stock version though?

Indeed, even on contrary.
