Full Beam Light Bulb

Does anybody know where I can get some High performance Main beam bulbs?

Which is the correct fitment for the GTi?

main beams are xenons on a Gti as far as i am aware :?

Nope.

The xenons are dipped-beam only. Main-beam and sidelights are regular bulbs. AFAIK, the main-beam bulbs are H1 :)

Check out somewhere like powerbulbs.co.uk or ultraleds.co.uk for prices...

Thanks pal. I'm a bit confused because the powerbulbs website suggests the Main Beam bulb is H4???? :?

The H4 is probably for the non-Gti main beam

The main beams are definatly H1. H4's are not fitted to any mk5, only the mk4. A non gti uses a H7 for dip and H1 for main.

It depends on the look you want to acheive. Blue vision give you that xenon blue tint, where vision plus give you a crisp white with an extra 20% brightness :P

Exactly. I have a pair awaiting fitment on my Polo. Much better to see where you are going than to worry about what colour it might be :wink:
