The gearbox in my X-Plate Polo GTI has just went can anyone assist with where's best to get this fixed in Glasgow/Central Scotland or know of anywhere that can ship parts to me?

I've heard Bedrock Veedubs are good but quite pricey can anyone help?

I'm in the same situation but down south, think my gearbox is about to give up! I've heard people talking about a company called ace gearboxes but I don't know where they are based.

Try volkspares on 02087787766, they deliver you a recond box and pick your old one up at a later date. £450 + vat, Tony from there seemed to know his stuff. ive had my box off them 6 months naw and all seems fine.

Engine and gear box on ebay, maybe cheaper to buy this then sell the engine seperately?
