Damn weather

Today... well all i can say is bloody scary.
My mk3 gt keeps locking up and spinning the wheels... what makes it worse is that there is loads of tread left and im not having to give the car any stick to make it spin up, even in second it keeps spining easy, also it locked up a few times when i broke a bit hard not even foot to the floor or hard on, spent most of the trip to and from work along distance from the car in front just in case.
Anyone else suffer the same thing?
