central england meet?

apologies if there already is one and i'm too stupid to have noticed... but are there any VW meets in central England?! I'm in bedfordshire, about an hour and a 1/2 north of London, and NOTHING seems to happen down here! the nearest i get is hanging out with the local rude bois at Bedford Cruise on a sunday night looking at their silly Corsas.
If there arn't any, is any1 up 4 having one?

theres a cruise in Beckton Gallions Reach area, which takes place every bank holiday, i'l be hanging around C if anyone there

Think so but i'd rather not go down to a cruise tbh - too many police about there too, ready to get you for anything.

aye i kno wot u mean, my mate got nicked because his numba plate, although it passed a mot the week b4 wit it on, the only reason i asked was cos there are alot of police around wen that meets on if that makes sense?:S
