Back in Black!!!!.............

Well as some of you might know i've been having some troubles with the old girl...but now ive got a new gearbox and a new clutch and shes running sweet as anything!
I've done a fair bit to her recently and ive just got her back from the bodyshop so i thought i'd take a few pics and show her off! Feel free to flame away..........
Heres what i've done to it: Reiger RS3 front bumper, Reiger Infinity side skirts, Clear smoked side repeaters, Bonrath badgeless grille and painted the back VW badge black!
Also now that ive got her bodykitted up i'd like a few opinions on whether to get cup style mirrors. I think it would make the car look more aggressive than it does at present....what do you guys think??
Cheers

Its just not my styling, but looks a good job. I do quite like the front bumper, but i think the sideskirts look a bit stuck on and dont really flow with the car.
With regards to mirrors, i prefer standard, but since your going the bodykitted look....the only mirrors i would ever consider are DTM's.

Thats cool m8, each to their own and all that!!
I agree with you on the fact that the job was done well, the geezers at the bodyshop did a great job on it!

you now i didnt really like your alloys in the old pics but... nwo all thats no it does agree with me.
Looking pretty mint imo. Just needs to go a bit lower i think. Thatd be a touch.
On regards to the mirrors... i wouldnt change them to be honest. I dont see the point, the mirrors on the car suit it just fine if you get something rounder or a different shape i think they would look out of place. Just my opinion. Maybe you disagree? You shouldnt... im right...

lol.
Must say thats probably also the first instance where ive seen the RS3 bumper and really had any wow factor towards it. It usually doesnt do it for me lol.
in short: Very nice.

Cheers for the comments guys, glad someone likes it other than me!
I actually agree with LeMeph there, ive always loved my alloys but i got them with doing all this stuff to the car in mind. I think the style ties together quite well.
You're also right that it needs lowering, i've promised someone on the forum i might buy their bucket seats from them (once ive seen what they look like), then its gonna get lowered!! Thinking 40mm.........im not sure i dare go 60 like R1CH did!!
As for mirrors, i think it looks great as it is...........im just not sure whether DTM's would change it for the better or worse... its kinda hard to invisage what they'd look like on my car!

yeh it is hard to tell. A f****r to photoshop aswell is would imagine. But im bored so it may be worth a go...
Ill warn you now though my photoshop skillz are far from adequate lol. Plus finding a set in the right position.. hmm maybe its not possible. If i can i will, if not then err.. just nothing will happen.

Lol cheers m8! i reckon it will be pretty hard to find a pic of DTM's in that position but cheers for thinking of doing it.......even if i dnt happen!
You're photoshop skillz will be better than mine coz i dnt have photoshop and i f*ck about with goddamn paint!! which looks shocking!

Mate forget the bucket seats! Get the coilies sorted and the exterior will look really good! That is all that its missing....a decent drop!

Oh yeh and the above dude is probably right lol. Coilies before bucket seats. remember the closer to the ground your car is the closer your arse will be lol. If you get bucket seats then your arse may be lower, but the car is not. This is not good. Coilies first!!! lol.
Yeh i tried to do the photoshop and err... there were absolutely no pics i could sue lol. That i could find atleast. however what it has done is reminded me what those mirrors are like and now i stand more by my earlier statement. Stick to the standard ones lol.

Thats ok m8, cheers for looking anyways!
You're totally right about getting the coilies done first but i did say to the guy i would buy them off him with the next pay cheque (depending on what theyre like etc) and he's keeping them by for me....i.e not putting them on the for sale section yet. hmmm dilemma......
I reckon ill stick with standard mirrors actually coz i cant be arsed to find out whether i need a 4 or 5 piece wiring kit for my electric mirrors!! its just much less hassle to keep the standard ones!!
errr

Heres a nice pic i got PM'd from 6NBen (whose seats im most probably buying), showing what a slam of 60ish mil would look like on my car.....loooks pretty tasty to me!!!
