Right it's that dreaded time of year - had my insurance renewal through this morning from the RAC and nealy had a heart attack (nearly double what i paid with them this yr!!! )

Who's everyone else with and who are ok with mods? Tried brentache this morning but they were cheaper than the RAC but still more than i paid this year (despite having more NCB, no accidents...etc) although they are very good with mods... :!:

I've gone with Brentacre, purely because of how they are with modifications and it's a like for like if I crash.

I must of had a quote from every company goin when i got mine, spent hours on the phone.

I am with bell now, they were miles cheaper than everyone else. Not sure how they are with mods, looks like i will be finding out very soon!

Yeh i noticed noticed my premium went up with norwich union when i got my 2nd NCB. It wasnt much more expensive, but i kicked up fuss and they took off lke £150, making it cheaper and was still by far the cheapest quote i had. I am planning on going to brentacre next time round though....just cos of mods

i'm with brentacre aswell (i think i started a trend?) and they beat my renewal quote and said all my cosmetic mods would be covered as long as i told them and this included exhaust and air filter etc!

Another vote for Brentacre here. My premium this year was only slightly less than last year due to the addition of Business Class 1 cover, an addition that cost me £150 extra...

Remember that with Brentacre, as a first-time customer there is a £20 new customer fee on the premium (they will tell you this at the time).

My favourite thing about being insured by these guys is that they are so easy going with the modifications. You just phone them up, tell them what you've been up to and they simply get on with adding it to the policy, no fuss, no drama 8)

Highly recommended
